Music
Welcome to the music gallery. Occasionally I will compose a piece or arrange a hymn for use in church. If anything turns out well, I'll post it here. Check back periodically.
Choral
A contemporary arrangement of Silent Night for SATB choir with piano accompaniment.Keyboard
A short (and cheesy) composition for keyboard that works well with a synthetic strings voice. One of my friends liked this piece and used it as background music for a scene in his video game.Organ
A short but exciting introduction to Easter Hymn (Jesus Christ Is Risen Today) for use on Easter Sunday. It takes only about 25 seconds, which works well in small churches with short processions.Recordings
All recordings were made on a Johannus Rembrandt 497 SE organ. They were recorded dry and in mono at 96 kHz with an M-AUDIO Transit USB audio interface connected to the organ's line-out. Noise reduction was performed in post-processing, and impulse response reverb was added via FFT convolution in MATLAB. The file was then downsampled to 48 kHz and converted to MP3 in LAME.Alla Hornpipe (from Water Music, Suite in D Major, HWV 349)
